Drilling into the cover should not void the warranty. I can't imagine they'd say "it voids the warranty"

There are no boots that fit. The largest size we can get without having a mold built is 110mm, but those are too small. i think you need about 130mm or so.

If you guys want to get a group buy and place an order for 500 boots, i'll pay to have the mold made though

(trust me, we already asked)

Honestly I like drilling/installing a grommet in the factory cover. It looks nicer then a boot sticking off the back (but even that, it's fine, you never see it).

That's because that's the bright side blinking. What your missing is the parking side. The dim one.

This is probably the problem. You'll have to do a little testing to figure it out.

It promptly dings at me after I get back in the truck and realize I left them on but not when I get out.
Regarding the auto setting and DRL's, my 2010 lariat had the auto feature and DRL's. Don't believe i had the option of enabling or disabling then, honestly never investigated. Lights were never switched out of auto. Never had to remember whether they were on or off. My kind of option. LOL
My 2016 XLT has auto setting and DRL's i don't think I've the option of enabling or disabling the DRL's, briefly looked but have not found the menu were it can be enabled or disabled.

i read about 95% of the post in this thread waiting for my 111357's which arrived Monday . all ur answers can be found through out the thread. I found the thread posted by hvaclu on pg 348 very interesting. He was trying and succeeding doing some serious mods to his brand new ANZO's. I believe to have the outer planks on as DRL's minus the amber LED Parking light. The part i found interesting was how the ANZO's are internally configured, such as how the LED outer ring plank's (white) are activated by the parking/running light circuit, while the amber switchback wired into the blinker circuit via the 2 wired pigtail at the bottom of the ANZO headlight and is activated by the blinker circuit.

So from his mod and notes, i'm hoping to wire my parking/running light (2 wire circuit) into my low beams aka (DRL's) which should achieve the outer LED planks to be activated with my DRL's as well as the (little 3-LED amber Parking/Running light) which up until that point in his mod i was replacing the bulb with a 194 white LED? Then have the ANZO provided pigtail wired to my blinker circuit, replace my halogen blinker bulb with a switching LED white for parking light, amber when blinking, hopefully all will be coordinated with the LED planks

The shop that installed it got it working. Was exactly what you said. was the connection at the socket.

Got mine installed today. Stuck some XHP70s from 4x4 truck LEDS in the low beam. Props for a nice set of bulbs. Havent tested them out much, but I can see them doing all I need. I set mine up to run as white always on also. I Installed some amber/white switch back for the marker bulbs but somethings off. I installed the load resistor as well, but when the bulb flashes amber it flickers a little like its not getting enough power. However white is fine. Also noticed the flash doesn't sync up well with the Anzos.

So the short of it, im looking for for some recommendations for a good set of switchback marker bulbs that others are using.

Installed mine yesterday with the 70's for low 50's for high and the fog kit (great setup from 4x4truckleds.com)

, the Anzo's look great and light output is almost equal to my HID's in the 2012. This is way better than my old halogens. Saw a Lariat today but it looked to have halogens in the fogs, with LED headlights, guess I never noticed it but he did notice mine.
Without lights on

Just the outlines

Low Beam no fogs

High Beams

Glad you guys like them. They do really take our trucks from being "cool" to "WOWZAS"

What kind of switchback bulbs were you running in your headlights? 7443 I imagine. What brand if you don't mind me asking? We have 7443's coming in a few days, switchback and non-switchback.

XHP70 should not be used in the high beams (you CAN but you won't get the best performance)
This isn't what the directions say. Glad I checked on here first...

As for the converter things that come with the bulbs, can I install them inside the headlight assembly? I know it says not to, but I thought I read on here that you said people were doing it with no issues.

Thanks.

I ran mine for a little while and they get pretty warm do not know what they would do inside the housing.

I just put them in the gap between the high and low on the Anzos and that seems to be a nice fit for them. I till probably mount them on the rad support when I go to check them in the morning, would like them a bit more solidly mounted.

I guess I'm not as patient as you...I couldn't read through all of the pages to figure out the wiring for the plank LED's to stay white all the time. Which wire do I tap into for this?
