2015/2016 Quirks
Still haven't made up my mind on if I want to trade my flawless '14 XLT in on a new '16 XLT. For those that have, what things do you dislike?
Not meaning wind noise/build quality issues, but design flaws or quirks you've noticed? Seems like the A-pillar is larger, especially with the grab handle. I hate to let a good truck go, but with driving 30,000 miles a year, I'm thinking I may want to replace it before the 10 speed transmission comes out. I'd rather not trade while the consumer is doing the final QA testing on it!
So if you had a '09-'14 and traded up, what do you miss from your old truck and/or dislike about the new?

One little design issue I have on the 15/16 trucks versus older is the Running Boards are tucked in more, and I find it more difficult to get secure footing due to this design. I do love the aluminum body for weight and especially rust resistant purposes here in the salt belt. I guess you have to be the judge yourself by giving one a good test drive. You shouldn't really run into issues with an XLT. A lot of the issues are on Lariat and above from what I have seen but be sure to do a careful inspection and test drive.

I think your chances would be better with just testing 1 new component. Rather than an entire new truck full of new components!
If yours is flawless and is a good truck, keep it! Now if you want a new truck get it, it's certain you'll like the new truck, but maybe not as well as your '14 though.

I came from a 2013 FX4 3.5. My 16 XLT is a lot better on fuel. First 1,000 miles average is 17.8 mpg.
