There was a TSB for the transmission clunking on down shifts from fifth to fourth during light reacceration after coasting.. Had it done on my 2015 it fixed the problem..

The other little clunking on the drivetrain is often said to be the splines on the shaft need to be greased..

I have appointment to have some scheduled service done tomorrow. I'm going to have the dealer look into probably a dozen issues with this truck. Thanks for this list, makes me feel a little better Ford is recognizing some of these issues. Over all its good, but there are a ton of little quarks that really bug me. I'm not too confident it will last me long if at 25k miles it’s have these issues already.

I heard this yesterday for the first time. Not sure if there's a TSB issued or not

Had a similar problem on my '13 (no issue yet on my '15) where you could get a clunk in a variety of situations..... greasing the driveshaft splines cured it for me but kinda surprised to hear this on '15s and later! Decidedly the 5-4 downshift issue was a '15 problem but the TSB mostly corrected it for me.... AZPLAT

I've experienced this on my new 2017 with 3.5 Ecoboost... assume that the TSB applied to the 6spd transmissions or was it related to a non-transmission issue?

I had to regrease the splines on my 2016. It lasted a little bit before the clunking came back. Now I just deal with it.

Does anyone know of a TSB for oil leak on lower part of engine?
Went to do my 1st oil change today and the bottom of the engine was lightly coated with oil. Looks like it could possibly be the oil pan seal...but not sure. I stopped, removed all bolt ons and returned the tuck to stock tune. Just wondering if there is something TSB or SSM out there. HATE taking my truck to the dealership even under warranty because most have a tendency to damage more than they fix. Thanks

Lawrence, any update on the oil leak? Did you get a chance to have the dealer take a look at it yet? Keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's nothing major.

Hey MN, thanks bro. Yes I took it in and it turned out to be what I thought it was...a leak from the turbo oil return line. The part is on national backorder, but as most know, I dont drive more than 4K annually in my truck so when it gets here ill take it back for the repair. I was worried but all is well. Thank again for the concern bro, appreciate it.
