Default 2014-2015

Had made my mind up to go order a 2015. However today the dealership calls and tells me they have great discounts on 2014 XLT. I really wanted an King Ranch or Limited.

Here is the question is the 2015 going to be worth 15000.00 over the same 2014?

thanks and i am new here this is my first post. Never been a Ford man, but the ford dealership in our town is the best dealer ship we have of any brand and my wife works there too. thanks for any help

Depends how much having the "Newest" thing means to you. If the 2014 has everything you want, and you save 15K, go for it. But, if you do it, do not return to the 2015 section because then you seen the 15s with the mods these guys do and you will be kicking yourself.

  1. The dealer is in the business of selling you a truck today right the hell now. Keep that in mind.
  2. The 2015 is still just a truck. I don't personally believe there's 15k of value in the new generation.

That's a point for each argument, personally I'd probably go for the 14. They haven't even touched MFT in a few years. I'd at least wait for the new electronics.

Also keep in mind that employee pricing is still on which is why you see these massive discounts. They don't want the 2014s on the lot when the 15s come out. That same truck this time last year would have been at the same price you looking at now for a 15. My advice is if you want a 15 wait for employee pricing next year in June/July and get a similar deal on a 15. FYI, friend on mine just bought a 2014 FX4 appearance with full load for 46000 CAD out the door, had a sticker of 60000
