Default 2011 to 2017

My 2011 XLT with the 3.5 was getting long in the tooth so I traded it in on a 2017 XLT Sport with the 3.5. I’m loving this 17 so far. The interior and sync is so much nicer.

No major plans for it. Tint the windows, bed cover, black out the emblems, and maybe some drilled and slotted rotors since my wheels are so open.

The only thing I don’t like is the 10 speed. Under very light acceleration it acts like it’s confused and constantly locking and unlocking the torque converter. I believe it’s the torque converter bc it doesn’t do it in tow haul. I’ll keep and eye on the TC issue and do my research but for now it doesn’t bother I just stick my foot in it a little more and it clears right up.

Looks awesome. I’m just glad my ‘17 has the 6 speed. Heard way too many horror stories of the 10 speed.

the 10 speed might go the same way the Fiat 9 speed is.

The problem with the 10 speed is that GM had their fingers all over it when it was designed.

Nice looking truck Josh. I prefer the 10 speed over the 6 speed. Mine has been flawless for 30k miles.

Nice looking truck Josh. My 17 has a chrome package, but I do like the contrast between the black components and the white paint. Very nice. I also have a 10-speed and no problems with mine.
