Default 2.7L EcoBoost Mod Packages

I'm picking up a new 17 2.7 EB this week. I've been looking around at modification packages, and it seems that the top two I've narrowed it down to are the Full Race and the Livernois. Does anybody have dyno numbers of tunes/intake/exhaust/downpipe on these trucks? I've seen tons of info on the 3.5's,but not much on the 2.7's. thanks in advance for the help.

A few people here have tuned there 2.7. MNSportsman did a great review of his Livernois. Here is a link

I have found google to work much better than the forum search function for a lot of questions and leads you directly to this sight majority of the time.

U looking for all out performance? IF so, nobody can come close to SSI. Just a tune and the 2.7 is running in the 12s in the 1/4.

Livernois is a well respected tuner - just may not get you the most power.

Also, take mftr posted dynos with a grain of salt.

I've read up on the tunes. I'm looking more at the complete packages. Livernois has the kit with their intake, exhaust, thermostat, and tuner (and possibly downpipe). Full Race offers their kit with the SCT tuner, exhaust, and intake. Just couldn't find a lot of people running either of those kits.

Intake and exhaust dont add much. Down pipe on 3.5 does add some power but i dont know if its as effective on the 2.7.

Even with the whole kit, a tune only ssi truck is faster. But livernois is a good co too and has good customer service

Bare minimum of a tuner and thermostat on the 2.7 really bring an extra kick in the pants to an already powerful base, we also offer an intake/tuner/t-stat bundle as well!
If you'd like more info feel free to give us a call or drop a PM and we can chat!

I just installed my Livernois 93 performance tune last night. Very nice gains and the truck feels great so far. I did a 3" catback, 160 thermostat and drop in air filter. It's a different truck for sure now. Very happy with Livernois customer service also!

SSI if I'm not mistaken has a history of blowing up motors...

Being the fastest isn't always the best. I'd prefer the piece of mind with Livernois.
