2.7 L engine tick

Anybody notice when the hood is up that the engine has a noisy tick? I think it's normal but wanted some input.

Could be......it's not an out of whack tick. It sounds like it's it's just part of the "system"

I haven't noticed mine, but I have read elsewhere that direct injection (and its associated fuel pump) will make more noise due to the very high pressure.
