2.7 Ecoboost Straight Pipe?
Has anyone straight piped there 2.7 Ecoboost yet? I've tried searching some videos on youtube and cannot find any 2.7 ecos yet. Just a bunch of 3.5s. I'm sure they sound pretty similar but maybe a little different? I'd love to hear the 2.7 straight piped from the turbos back.
I'll be getting a new truck this November and still can't decide between the 2.7 and 3.5.

If you want an impressive exhaust note after installing a muffler/catback, buy the 5.0. If you want 470tq and a 10 speed transmission, buy the 3.5 after the prices settle for the 2017.

Its not that i want an impressive exhaust note really. Id just like to be able to hear that turbo spool a bit more. Thats why i was looking for 2.7 straight pipes from the turbos back but not many people have done it... I think im going to go for the 2.7. Lease it for the 2 years and if i like it ill just end up buying it.

It would be stupidly loud and lots of drone at pretty much all speeds.

The S Type Borla doesn't sound *too* bad in my opinion, but at $1k+ a pop it's a bit pricey for me.
You could always look at popping on a Flowmaster/Magnaflow/Borla muffler on there for a bit more noise at 1/4 of the cost of a full catback system. Shouldn't sound too raspy and at least you'll be able to hear your truck over the Camry next to it
