Exclamation 2.7 Auto Start/Stop error

My auto start/stop has begun throwing a See Manual Wrench message. Dealer diagnosis was Transmission Auxiliary Fluid Pump failure. Part will be in tomorrow.

Do you override your auto start/stop?

90% of the time I turn off the start/stop. Forgot about a 2 weeks ago and got the error message. For those that permanently disable the auto start/stop function they may never know that the Aux Pump has gone bad.

Have had my truck about 7 months or so and I think my start/stop worked for about 2 weeks, has not worked once since.

Thanks for sharing this info. I remember another member had an issue with this as well:

I wonder how many 2.7's will see something similar. I have my start/stop permanentaly disabled by my tuner. Maybe I'll load the stock tune and test it out at some point.

If you leave your defrost on, max A/C, or several other things, it momentarily disables the Auto S/S. As long as your info screen says it's operational, you're good.

Glad you got it fixed Zap. What's the build date on your truck? I wonder when this part was revised and if others are going to start seeing a similar issue?
