It does this in tow mode every time it downshifts on a decline. There's a delay between when it gets out of the higher gear and engages the lower gear. It scares my wife when we start accelerating toward a corner down a steep hill momentarily before engaging the lower gear and shooting the rpms up to 5000. It's unnerving, but I'm getting used to it.

I've not experienced the same behavior in any other drive mode.

I dont really use the other modes besides normal so I cant say for sure I got my new 8" cluster in so I'm gonna go drive and see if I can get it to do it and see if I'm building any boost that would tell me the engine is fueling causing it
