As mentioned to get the 20 inch rims when buying new you have add the off road package that also includes a change in rear differential. I have the same 17'' rims and wheels and don't like the look of them but they ride great, get 22 mpg with the 5.0 and I'm thinking going to cause less stress on the vehicle. I'm reluctant to change from how it was configured from the factory.

20" rims are heavier, plus the shorter sidewall... much worse ride. Had 20s on my last 2 trucks, and love the 18s on my new one. Rides so much better, IMO.

Wouldn't get the Nittos if you want a smooth ride. Better than some A/T tires, not as smooth as the BFG KO2s, though. However, I took the Nittos off and bought a set of the Michelin Defenders LTX M/S, and it was WORLDS better in both smoothness and bump absorption.
