Default 157" Wheelbase with 6" ProComp lift ????

My only question will be:

Who has it installed and have you had any vibration issues after the install with your driveline? If so what was your solution?

I have the pro comp kit on my 145" wheelbase, no issue. Just thought I'd chime in...

Thank you. I had the same setup on my last truck but now I have the two piece drive shaft so I have a small concern of vibration.

I have a 157 wheelbase and had to drop my carrier bearing 1.5 inches to fix vibration and shudder I was getting. I have my truck lifted 4.5 inches.

How did you lower it and how bad was it? Was it right out of the shop that you felt it? Just wondering why the shop didn't pick up on it.

My friend and I installed it at his shop. Its pretty much trial and error you are pretty much going to know right away if you need it or not. I wouldn't really say I had a high speed vibration just a low speed shudder from a stop. I ended up getting a carrier bearing drop kit from zone offroad or you can get it from bds they use the same one. Its basically just a set of 6 shims that you add to until it stops, I ended up using all 6. All was good afterwards. What size block does the pro comp lift use?

They have a 4" block in the rear. Going to call ProComp on this also but 4Wheelparts is doing the install so I would think they would have a handle on it. Hopefully

You might get lucky and not need it, if you do its very easy to install.

If luck is on my side, I would imaging when they do the test run they would notice it. I hand a 2012 F150 but it was the 147" wheel base and i didn't have the issue but beings this a two piece drive shaft I guess I will keep and "feel" for it. Last option is to change out the drive shaft for a one piece aluminum one with beefier u joints. From a shop in Texas.
