Default 15 F150 Radio Screen Black need help...

Radio and CD work fine, Repair facility says it needs a new screen, it's the smaller screen, about 2.5x4", they want $330 ugh! What is the best option and they claim no re-program needed, is this correct? Thanx, Al

Check ebay, check scrap yards, the 4 inch screen is easy to find. Its easy to change, look at youtube to take the dash apart, its only a couple of screws and that center section comes out and 4 screws to remove the screen. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-Ford-F...IAAOSwGUpb5bjN Quite a few listings on ebay for these. I searched "f150 4inch screen"

Needs to be programmed. The early 4.2” had a 12 pin connector on the back and had to be programmed separate from the apim

Default Thanks

I was wondering about programing. I wonder what a dealer will charge, and can my local mechanic have access to the programing?
So removed from dash to program or through the truck's computer link?
