That looks interesting, but I'm not quite clear on how that provides a high-current, switched source at the front of the vehicle. Is there already factory wiring present and I'd just need to add the switch and FORScan programming, or am I out of luck because I've got an EcoBOOST and thus the plow package wasn't even an option?

It doesn't provide high current but does provide switched current you can use to activate the relay for the winch. Also disables certain electrical loads during snow plow (winch) operation.

I've never installed on an Ecoboost but I would be willing to bet it would work. Ford just doesn't have that as an option on Ecoboosts as the Snow Plow would block air flow to the heat exchanger.
