Default 12v Outlets

Does anyone know how long the 12v outlets are powered when the truck is turned off? I need an always hot outlet to run my portable freezer, but they all seem to shut off after a while. The way the owners manual is written, it leads me to believe they should remain on even when the vehicle is off?

I think they remain on all the time. But if you have a large load plugged in, the battery run down protection will shut them down.

I doubt it will run a freezer.

It runs it just fine when the key is in the truck, but eventually the truck cuts power to the outlet. It does the same thing with my phone charger as well.
