Yep....like gm.......only some are good.....look for the posts....they are new with gm's hand in the mix.....its only a matter of time.....but thanks for your posts..

I always thought GM made good trannies.

Never had any luck with the 4l60 electric. Rebuilt and and then replaced another. Also, almost every used gm I look at on autotrader has rebuilt/replaced their 4l60e after 200-300km (120-180mi).

That being said I got away from gm without ever trying the 6 speed.

I have had 8 GMC trucks and five GM cars. I have never had a transmission issue with any of them. The least three trucks were used to pull 12-14,000 pounds regularly.

Have a F-150 with the 3.5 and 10-speed on order, hope it is issue free.

Lol...are we comparing 1/2tons....14000lbs......4l60s or 4l80s.......point of the post was....i dont see honda helping kia.....toyota with Hyundai....lexus with???.....
