10 speed owners?

Initially I had some hard 1-3 up shifts, and 4-3 down shifts, but they have smoothed out.
Now once and a while, on the first 3-4 up shift of the day, it will hang a bit, like I've clutched in.
After the first 3-4 shift, it goes away completely.
I notice it happens more if I'm really light on the throttle, and not so much if I'm a little heavier footed.
Otherwise it's been great, and you really don't notice it at all.
My pedal commander has made it downshift more often, but that's just because it's reading more throttle input than what I'm actually giving.
I still have my fingers crossed that no major (or minor for that matter) issues arise as time goes on.

Really liked the 2.7/6AT combo in my '15, like the 2.7/10AT combo in my '18 even more! Now with just over 4K miles, shifting has been largely uneventful. I really began to notice things smoothing out at around 2500-3K miles. Always seems to be in the right gear, rarely get a stumble or harsh shift anymore. I especially like all the drive modes, as well as the manual ability to control gears. This is a very adaptable AT. I have about 500 miles of trailer towing so far (5K# tandem flatbed), and I'll tell you, the 10AT is a beast in Tow/Haul! Trailering is actually fun with this 2.7/10AT & all the built-in trailer electronics.
My wife had a Honda Pilot with the 9AT for a while.....you talk about a BAD transmission. Wow. Kept if for about 20K miles, couldn't deal with it any more. So far, this 10AT is great!

I've got 20K on mine and only a minor issue or two... It sometimes hesitates a little, like its trying to decide which gear to go to. and... it kind of "clunks' occasionally during in town driving. Its sort of related to the other issue. It kind of hunts for the proper gear, then it seems to shift to a higher gear than it should, which causes the clunk.

Same here. Consistently puts itself in a gear that puts the engine @ 1,000 RPM. That is far from being in "the right gear". Then when you roll into the throttle, it bucks and studders because RPM'S are so low. The torque converter locks up in 3rd gear, so 4-10 gears are jerky sometimes, like a manual transmission. It falls on its face when shifting from 1st to 3rd, because the converter locks as soon as you hit 3rd. It's not very smooth, and it doesn't do a good job sorting out the gears. I do like it when towing, but it is far from refined for everday driving. Still needs a lot of refining and I've been driving mine for a year and a half and 18,000+ miles.

Almost everyone at the dealership I went to drives an F150. They all told me that the new A10 would take some getting used to.
It does feel a little weird sometimes, but overall pleased with it.

18,000+ miles. Veeeeeeery happy. From time to time I feel it hunt for a gear or two. Other than that it is like an old power-glide... Smoooooooooth. Could not be happier with a transmission...

The 10 Speed is incredibly smooth. I don't even know it's shifting gears most of the time. Like I said, I only have clunkyness in the lower 3 gears when I'm starting and stopping, and that's only sometimes.

To have a transmission that is this refined in a pick up truck is pretty amazing. You almost forget that you are in a truck until you get that one "clunk" and then you remember that this is not a Towncar.
