After researching a little more, it sounds like to install the 1.5 inch spacer you have to cut / grind down the studs on the truck. Is that right? If so, that's a little too permanent for me.

2" rough country level and my rear is exactly 1/2" taller than the front.

I put the 1.5" auto spring lift on mine and still have about an inch of rake left. I did not have to grind anything.

Do you have a picture? Pretty sure I am going with that exact kit.

I went with 2” auto springs kit and also installed the add-a-leaf to the rear suspension to prevent sag when towing. Still have a little rake and easily clear 275/65/20 with no other modifications

I took a quick pic just now and its not the greatest. 60mph and snow right now outside. My driveway rises a little to the front of the truck and the truck is not on level ground right now in the pic. Like I said before it still has a little rake, any higher then it is now and i would not be happy. I tow my boat a lot and with it attached it sags a hair which I dont like.

Thanks for the picture. I assume those are still the stock tires?

Yes, stock wheels and tires. I'm going to buy bigger tires to fill out the wheel well a little more.

I went through the same debate for a year and after going with a 2" level, found that pictures can be deceiving. Love mine with the 2" and glad I went that route .
