Default Rusted Frame - Sellable?

'08 F150 XLT, 5.4 Triton, 4x4, 133K miles

I bought this truck a couple years back for cheap, knowing it had some rust and other issues, but thinking I'd fix it up as I went and more or less just use it for dump runs, moving things, etc.
The work ended up being so involved that the rust got away from me before I was able to treat it, and now it's eating through the frame and body.
*After* the work I've done on it (new PCM, PS pump, timing chain, water pump, cylinder head, crank sensor, trans range sensor, fuel pump driver module, brake rotors/pads/calipers, and new tires), I've realized how much the rust has been eating away the frame, and am concerned I'll be able to sell it at all, beyond just for parts.
So here's the question... KBB has this truck's value at $6,320 for "fair" condition. Think anybody (and I would be straightforward with them) would buy this for anywhere close to that price, or at all, considering it probably needs a frame replacement? Trying to determine if I can 1), ideally sell it as-is without doing any more work, considering outside of the rusted frame it's running great and has a ton of new parts. 2) Replace the frame and then sell it for what it's worth (would not be excited about this option). Or 3), take the loss, sell it for parts and move on.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or ideas! Greatly appreciate it.

There is always a buyer, the price has to be right - and right now that could be $5k, never know. And as long as you're forward with them (maybe even have them sign a bill of sale stating the fame has major rust damage so there's not a "you're word against theirs" lawsuit later) I don't think it's an issue.

Replacing the frame isn't as difficult as it sounds, it's time consuming though.

I think it would be a bigger loss selling for parts on that age vehicle and not really worth the time & effort.

I have a similar situation. Being new to the forum I was hoping someone could give me advice. I have a 2013 Ford F-150 Eco-Boost that I bought used at 100,000km. 5 yrs later at 255,000km so I have gotten a lot of use out of it and don't regret the purchase. However, it is now showing a multitude of minor problems (blower accuator making a lot of noise when running air or heater, horn not working, tire rims slowly leaking air, throttle sensor causing random loss of power when heavy on the gas pedal, power window mechanism loose causing rattling and sometimes the window doesn't work, etc). The big problem is rust, especially the running boards but spots showing up everywhere. A body shop quoted me $5,000 Cdn to fix the rust. Question, given the mileage and other mechanical issues, is it worth spending the money to fix the rust or just let it run as is till it drops? Thanks

Dorman makes a frame repair kit. Have a look below and see if that would work. You can find YouTube videos as well.

I am assuming that the rocker panels and the wheel arches are gone as well. That's a lot of work, it won't sell for 5k, fix it and keep it.

This is a three year post. The truck likely already had a date with the crusher.
