Default Patina

Old Ford truck, lots of patina, body is straight. I am thinking it would look amazing to prep the body and spray it with clear. Anyone ever done that? What is the process? TIA

Literally just scuff the surface and clear. But make sure any flaky surfaces are taken care of. Clear coat doesn't like that

The long definition of 'Patina' is 'Not worth Painting' - -if you love the truck paint it right IMO!
