Default How interchangeable Tailgates
I have a 1984 F250 with slight damage to tailgate latch mechanisms. I need another tailgate. What range of years would this tailgate have been installed on? I REALLY mean ...what other tailgates/years have the latch mechanisms in exact same location as my 1984?

Thanks! I knew that Ford wouldn't change the inner workings of a tailgate every year. Too much un-needed tooling.
