I grazed one of those yellow steel/concrete posts with my '10 XLT a couple weeks ago, and I am definately planning on removing and installing a new bumper myself. I am also going to need to replace the "Valance" piece above the bumper. They were both slightly warped, but the 12" yellow paint streaks are the real problem. Haha It looks like it should be relatively straight forward, however I have done plenty of work on the truck before and know that nothing on these trucks goes as easily as it should!
Any info on Removal/Replacement of the front Bumper and Valance would be MUCH appreciated. I haven't been able to find much on doing a stock swap, just on replacing stock with something new. If I don't find anything I will be tackling it blind in another two or three weeks.

OK. I'm not going to pay someone to do it. That's what I'm saying. I know I have the tools and the ability, I just wanted to see if anyone on here had done it before. I know somebody has some tips and tricks from doing a bumper replacement, or replacing one they dinged up. Help us out!
Are there any Body guys or people who have done this them selves? After getting the truck on a lift and looking around some more it looks like it will be much more involved then removing a couple bolts and sliding the bumper assembly out. Does anybody have access to AllData? I know it can be tough to follow the instructions sometimes but I've found it useful in the past. Any Tips/Advice helps! Thanks.
