During last State Inspection I was told that next time I should have the front lower control arm front mount repaired. It is rusting out. I’ve done a quick internet search and have found nothing as far as a replacement part.
Aside from underside rust it’s a decent truck. 1997 F150 XL 4x2 3 door step side.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Is it total fabrication or is there someone with a weld in fix?

 

Its the radiator core support- very common on these trucks, mine included. Search for radiator support replacement.

 

Dude, the rad support has nothing to do with the mounting of the control arms.
