I’m looking to buy a 2018 F150. I like the truck, but there are some interior cosmetic issues that would make it a no-go for me. The dealer has agreed to fix them, but I’m not sure how good these fixes can get? Will I be able to notice the holes and cover ups still?
Theres also an aftermarket light switch (presumably) attached on the black fake-leather looking material to the left side of the steering wheel. I don’t have a picture of it, but the light bar isn’t on the truck, and I don’t really have plans of adding one. So I’d prefer to have them remove it and repair it. It’s the same texture as what’s to the left of the door handle in the first photo.

I’d really appreciate your insights, thanks!
I am really wondering why they drilled the 3 holes there.
That stuff would bug me if it wasn't fixed correctly. Give the dealer a chance and inspect it before signing any deal.
To me that stuff indicates a lot of heavy use. I would also look at maintenance records. What is the mileage? Are you buying it for a second vehicle, run to the dump type use or daily driver?
There are a lot of f150's out there, keep looking if you have to.
