Default Bed Coating

My recently purchased 2015 has what appears to be a very sparse, and shoddy coating of Raptor liner in the bed. Does this have to be removed or scuffed before recoating? If not, I plan on power washing the bed surface and reapplying the Raptor liner coating. I've used it before over a painted surface but never before over old Raptor liner. I have the special spray gun for shooting the Raptor liner.

I would assume that you need to get it to a state of no more easy peel, then rough up all the rest and spray a new coating. Or just throw down a rubber mat or full drop in.

If you want something that’ll hold up for a spray in, have it professionally done. Or as stated, just throw a mat on top or get a drop in.

I wouldn’t waste my time on one of those home applied bed liners.
