Default Unknown noise

Hey guys I wanted to get your opinion on this noise coming from the drivers side rear wheel of my truck. It started when I was driving at about 60 MPH and the rear end began bouncing. When I pulled over the rear rims were smoking hot and I could smell burning brake pads. I replaced the brake pads/calipers/rotors the next day. The bouncing hasn't returned (yet) but this noise was present before and after the brake replacement. Tell me what you think pls!

Have you checked the emergency brake? It sounds like a brake pad/emergency brake pad is partially engaged and rubbing. I had all kinds of trouble with the emergency brake actuator on the right rear of my 2004 and it engaged at 70mph driving down the freeway and the rearend felt like it was coming off. I had the same problems with a very hot wheel and bad smell.

Hope this helps.
