Default Transfer Case Allowable Tire Size Mismatch

hello,

i have a 2018 f150 4x4 with a twin turbo kit. im looking to run a 20x10 front and a 17x10 rear.
20 in the front because it has a wildwood big brake kit on it.
i am having a hard time finding the allowable tire size mismatch for the transfer case.

currently the truck has some dumb 22s on it with 285 35 22.
im looking to get for now a 17x10 with a 315 50 17 MT ET Street R
but it would be about 1/2" smaller than the front.

when i get the 20x10 front i would look to run a 295 40 20 (nitto NT555G2) which is closer to the 315 50 17

does anyone have any experience running a 20/17 setup on a 4x4 truck?
thanks for the help!!

If you're going to run it in 4X4 all 4 tires need to be the same size and with very near the same tread wear. If you only use 4X4 for short distances to get yourself out of a really bad spot I don't think you're going to break anything. In really bad conditions you're probably going to have some tires spinning anyway.

That's about the same difference that you'd see between a brand new tire and the same tire with about 40,000 miles on it.

But there is no way I'd do what you want to do. It's not just the transfer case, but mismatched tires aren't the best for handling or braking.
