Default tranny question

Hey guys my f1fiddy just got totaled so im looking for a new truck..ive had my eye on this f150 with 35s, its a 2wd( :/ i know but the mileage is great for the price) it has 107,xxxmiles ......im worried about the tranny, around what mileage does the tranny of a 99 f150 with bigger tires need to be changed? (i know theirs no real answer but just trying to get a ballpark.)

There's a ton of variables with it that really nobody knows. Every transmission is different in the time they have left. How it was driven and what stock gears (3.08 vs 3.73 makes a difference) also factors in. Only someone with a crystal ball would be able to truly know. If it feels and shifts well and meets all your other criteria, buy it and it's cheap to regear since it's 2wd.

I got 35's around 80k on my 98 f150 with trans went at about 146.. I was quite surprised... With Alot of off roading.. But i had a B&M trans cooler and kept up the maintence on it really well... My rear end went out shortly after the lift and tires...
