Default Succesfully put an 02 Police Interceptor engine in 00 F150

As some of you know about a year ago I got a 2002 Crown Vic Police Interceptor Engine to put in my 2000 F150 and after many months of working, fitting, finding parts and tracing wires and fabricating we have finally finished it and have it running and driving. It runs great and has plenty of power and was deffinitly worth it. Just letting everyone know we have finally got it done. Need to know anything just ask. I am even gonna get a police interceptor badge to go under the f150 emblem to show our work. lol Thanks for the help
I will get some pics of the motor up soon, maybe tomorrow. I also dressed it all out with the whole harness in blue electrial tape and red injector wires and stainless braided hoses.

the police interceptor is just a plain old PI 4.6L, nothing special.

Actually no its not. I have been working on this for almost a year and am tired of people saying that. I have seen the engine and it has different heads and and a few other things. Look at the HP and Tourqe ratings and tell me it is the same old 4.6. becaue it is not. I can definitely tell because the power of this engine and the power of the old 4.6 there is a huge difference.

wrong. ALL 01+ 4.6L engines are the same, the engine from a P71 is just a regular PI engine.

get used to those who know what they are talking about telling you the truth.

if you want casting data, CFM, compression specs, and cam specs, ill post them for you.

i though PI meant performance improved?? i know it has some minor adjustments such as a higher rpm and The computer is tuned for more aggressive transmission shift points. but i am no expert this is just what i have been told

so that also means that the cops dont have much power either ... i mean using a 4.6 in a huge car like the crown vic.. that would be the same too so shoot i might stand a chance of out running one of them...

just about. block, heads, internals. Manifolds and oil pans are different. The exception is the 05-08 'stang GT, 2006+ Exploder and Sport Trac, and 2007 Crown Vic, they all get the 3V 4.6L.

its not really the EEC tuning as that is changed by application, the cams are more aggressive, heads are higher flow, and the combustion chamber is revised.
