Default slip yoke grease question

Working on a 2002 Screw 4wd 5.4L

I'm sure this has been covered before but i can't find it so here it is.

From what i've read the slip yoke must be grease. Looks like most people just grease the inside splines.

Does the grease mix with the transfer case fluid?
I think it would so does the grease and the transfer case fluid need to be somewhat compatible?
What specific grease should I buy, or does it matter?

Smallest detail are hard to find and I want to do it right so I appreciate any help
Thanks

The splines are outside of the transfer case and not subject to oil immersion. Check out youtube videos for the F150 spline lubrication. All your questions should be answered by a couple of the videos.
