on there it says 99-03 im taking it that they will fit a 97? Like im always running into that things will say 99-03 or 97-03 what is the differnce if any. also it says off-road only...that doesnt matter much to me but im having the ford dealer put em on due to fact i have broken arm... is it possiable they will not put em on for that reason? I looked at doin that kit as well, but found it much cheaper to do it myself with my own cats haha. In order for Ford to install them I'm pretty positive you will have to supply a kit that includes Cats, seeing how its illegal to remove them.

try BBKs worked pretty good for my lightning and yes i did lose a little low end and id wait to do it yourself fords going charge a arm a leg and your first born but for the price 350 shipped i never complain as far as the years go 97-03 or 99-03 i THINK its just company set mybe??

I thought about waiting till i got healed to do it but thats a ways off and its leaking soooo bad. So i called ford and they said $750 to take old ones of and put new ones on... doesnt seem to bad considering the studs are so rusted there going to need drilled.. im going to call dynatech and check up im thinking it is just a set cuz i mean my haynes manual goes 97-03.. as of now if i get shortys im going to go with gibson or possiably bbk lot of my friends use bbk for there ricers. what bbk headers did u get?

I had BBK Long tubes on my 5.0 and absolutley loved them, awesome craftsmanship and a sound that couldnt be beat, here again your mod will sound totally different but still good. And to prove my point about the JBA shorties I removed, I will give them to anyone of the people who thought I was making it up, and dare them to waste the money to have them installed. Heck if anything, you'll have yourself some free "non torque band changing" "beautifully crafted" headers.
