Default Reman engine vendors

Has anyone any experience with this vendor?

https://www.powertrainproducts.net/

I am preparing to replace the 5.4 mod in my 2002 King Ranch F150. Rod knock when warm. I'm trying to find a reputable reman vendor....

Never heard of those folx, I do however have extensive experience with Jasper reman engines/trans/differentials. They also offer a 3yr/36k mile warranty on all of their products. https://www.jasperengines.com/

I would give the guys at SP Precision a call. They make a great remanufactured engine that is stock and at a decent price. Also they use better parts that were know to have problems in the original. At least this was the case on my 2010 F-150.

Yeah I have. I got my 4.6L reman for my '97 from them. They're out of Texas. So far I've got 2500 on the motor with 0 issues. Changed the oil at
500, 1500 & will change it at 3000 again. The only thing is the distributor I went thru went out of business & of course took my deposit with them.
Was a great price, free shipping, & lift gate service was $50....both ways. The manufacture (the link above) installs all the latest engineering upgrades
especially the pesky spark plug threads!!!

How is your remanufactured engine working out from SP Precision? I just got one for my 1990 chevy and didn't do alot of research before ordering it. Seems to be okay so far but I want to know if your engine from them lasted. Thanks

Ford still has some reman engines for that truck. I'd need the engine tag number or VIN to see if they have the exact engine still available. Ford reman gas engines have a three year, unlimited mileage parts and labor warranty.
