Plugs
Hey everyone Like too know if anyone has used E3 Spark Plugs in there 5.4 if not what do you think is the best one for it. I just bought a 1999 F150 Lariat super cab Flareside and thought I would start out fresh and do all the maintenance in the next few weeks.

Either stick with Motorcraft, or the top-shelf Denso Iridium IT-16.
Avoid E3's, Autolights, Bosch and Champions for yer engine.
Use new boots and fresh dielectric grease.
Torque to 28 ft-lbs dry if using a nickel-plated plug like the first two.
You can elect to use some nickel anti-sieze on the threads (not necessary but some folks still choose to do so). If you do, adjust torque values as per this guide:

I *think* that's for the 4.6
EDIT - confirmed - that is a 4.6L plug
