I Have a 89 F150 302 manual trans. I am rebuilding the engine I am going to tow a camper and car trailer weight about 4500-5000 pounds I would like to add some performance parts to get a little more HP I have already installed headers, air intake, free flowing exhaust. This worked fine but the engine lost a piston and I am rebuilding and looking for suggestions I was thinking about a small cam but I am not that familiar with fords or the speed density system. Please advise Thanks

 

try a 351 windsor..

 

Get a stroker kit. You will get more torque with that than anything.
