My 2004 F150 started running a trouble code today and i have no idea what it is. The code is p2106 Throttle actuator control system-Forced limited power. Does anybody know anything about this or how to fix it. Thanks

 

the concern you have is the tp sensor/s on your thottle body the most common repair is to replace the thottle body, some people replace the tp sensors either one should take care of your concern

 

This evening the trouble code was gone athough I'd say the problem is still there. Is it still safe to drive the truck untill I get it repaired and Is this usually an expensive repair or is it fairly cheap.
