Question oil!

would a O ring that is broke on the ditributer blow oil out on the engine? and cause it to work snotty

not sure which o-ring you're talking about.

If oil is getting up in the distributor - yep, could cause some issues.

If it's the gasket between the distributor and manifold, a failure could cause oil leakage, but I don't think it would result in engine performance issues.

Yes and it could burn your truck up if that oil get someplace real hot.
