hi! i have a 5.4L sohc vin L comming from expedition 2001 4x4
i whant to install the engine in my pickup 2003 f 150 4x4 with a 4.6L sohc w the model of the engine are the seme ( triton ) do i have to chage the pcm are only some sensor thx

 

i would say yes for the obvious fact that they are different sized engines which would mean different amounts of fuel... just grab the one off the Expedition

 

that's what i would do but is it a big job to do the 5.4L is vin ( L ) and the 4.6 L is vin ( w ) but ther are triton
