true dual systems can have a x pipe or a h pipe, and they are still true duals, more with the h pipe that the x pipe though.

with a x pipe, the two come down to one pipe and back out to to again, where with the h pipe, the pipes stay apart, yet have a crossover.

I have true duals with a h pipe and no mufflers, and it is great, and definatally added torque in the butt-o-metter.
