Hose to nowhere
I recently picked up a 1990 xlt 4x4 with a 4.9 in line six e.f.i.
On the passenger side fender well, coming off the air pump
is a rubber hose that goes up to the engine.
One rubber hose comes off the pump goes to a plastic can,
not the metal one thats looks like a soup can.
Out of that plastic can is a hose about a foot long that just lies on the fenderwell ( seems to be coragated not rubber )
hooked to nothing wide open end. When truck is running there is suction there.ANYBODY HAVE THE SAME TRUCK AND CAN GO TAKE A LOOK AT THEIRS,AND LET ME KNOW,THANKS
