hey everyone, my moms car threw codes p2017 and p2004... I cant find anything on them and was wondering if anyone knew em, its a 2009 chrysler seabring convertible, thanks everyone

 

Bro just get yourself Carmd. It reads all engine codes it really takes the guessing games out. New its 120 buck or u can get one from ebay with all the gear for cheaper. Its extremely handy.

 

P2017-short runner valve (srv) position sensor circuit high

p2004-intake manifold regulator stuck open bank one

 

Still should get a CARMD pretty handy

 

thanks man, and the only reason i came here is because my friend read the codes on his and his book didn't have these in it and i couldn't find anything online

sounds like gunk build up, I would run some gumout or fuel injector cleaner thru your system. If you are still getting the codes after that then try manually cleaning the manifold you have to take it apart and clean it all, make sure you used a new gasket
also there is a software upgrade for the computer but needs to be done at the dealer
