flexible trans lines

Unhappy flexible trans lines

hey my trans lines were smashed and there are no easy ways of getting replacements so i was wondering if anyone had any luch with flexible trans lines like steel braided ones cuz i know you cant use rubber

You might be able to use hydraulic lines, those are a little more beefier than regular black fuel lines.

Default Maybe Still Available:

Auto parts houses used to stock steel-braid reinforced neoprene hose designed specifically for trans cooler oil lines. I've used it in a couple of vehicles, but I don't know if it's still available. You might check Autozone or Advance to find out.

Alternatively, you could cut out the damaged parts of the lines and replace them with lengths of 5/16" steel brake line and 5/16" compression unions.....I've done that a few times as well.
