Default died while driving

Ok guys no flaming on the truck but its my dads 95 Chevy s10 with a 5 speed and we were coming home (from a break in at a friends car, what a night) and as soon as we pulled into the driveway the truck shut off completly. When we tried to start it again absolutly nothing happened when my dad turned the key (yes the clutch was in and the truck was in nutrale) but the was no clicking or humming or anything. The only thing I could here was the fuel pump turning on. So what could the problem be? I'm thinking bad ground connection?

U may need to route around a faulty clutch switch ? But it may be a bad cable or connection around them even the ground cable, frame area. Follow the negative cable to ground, remove and clean. Cable may be open and need replacement also. Many times the connection at the battery just corrodes away and U see a leak from the battery toward it. U will need to peel away the plastic cover to see the extent of corrosion on the copper disk.
