Got a crazy miss but no codes are coming on . How can you tell if the cats are stopped up ? I misses when you press the go pedal between 45 -60 . But if you stomp it , it will get up and go . I'm clueless on this . It does have an odd oder coming from the exhaust .

 

Had the same problem, replaced all coils and plugs. Runs great. Look on amazon for accel coils, half what oem's are.

The o2 sensor SHOULD catch a cat problem, but you can use a 3x5 notebook card to check it. Just hold it about an inch or two from the tailpipe and you should get even puffs that blow the card back...

 

i had a really bad miss for a week and it never through a code. It was my coils going bad so i replaced them all along with splugs and runs perfect now. look on line for COP's they are only $80 compared to 400 at autostore
