I'm pretty sure my cats are toast, they have 214k on them. However, it looks like a $650+ job to replace them. Is there any way to just remove them and run a custom y-pipe without triggering the CEL. I've heard you can run resistors on the O2 sensors and all kinds of stuff. My truck is still registered in a state that does emissions inspections so I have to be able to have it run without the CEL coming on, at least while it is getting inspected.
