Default Axle ratios

Hi Guys
About axle ratios:I have an F150 with the 3.55 limited slip rear.Is the axle ratio the same on the front axle?If not, then im assuming that the tires on both axles are rotating at different speeds when 4wd is engaged?Dont want to bust up the xfer case.any ideas?

Axle ratios and tire sizes have to be the same or something will break. Your assumption is correct.
