alternator question

alternator question

My 08 XLT came with a 110 amp altenator.
Is this standard equipment or an up or down grade?

Standard equipt. They are rated at 110 but actually capable of producing significantly more amperage if needed. On average the ford alternators rated at 110 will produce 135+ at full load.

thanks, so I should have little worries about running trailer lights as well as truck lights

No worries. Your stock alternator will be able to handle it no problem.
