I'm look I to swapping and 09-10 5.4 3v out of an f150 in to and 05 f250. I know there some differences between the f150 5.4 and f250 5.4 like the timming cover, oil pan, exhaust manifolds, engine mounts, etc all of which we can pull off the f250s engine but I'm wonding if there any differences to the 09-10 5.4s Specifically need to changed or prevent from going head with the swap.

the other option is to get ome out of an 08-10 f250 with 5.4 would that be a better option. ( edit turns out the engine in the 250 if blown)

Both doner trucks (09-10 f150 and 08-10 f250) are the scrap yard the f150 is a new engine that was being put in the truck before the truck was scraped and the 250 as far as we know it was also a running truck that was wrecked.

So if the engine will work, what would be the best for the swap. Looking for easiest swap

 

you would be better off finding an F250 engine
