i have a 07 f-150 5.4 and it has a slight shake at idle really just running ruff at idling brought it to the dealer and they put in a cam phazer and they said it didn't fix it what should i do its still under warranty shouldn't they fix it or give me something just need some advise thanks

 

Keep on them, they acknowledged a problem, don't let them off the hook. Its a pain in the rear end, I know, but why should you suffer financially. Did you take this to the selling dealer?

 

no i bought the truck in another town i sent the truck to a local ford dealer and there doing the work would it mader its still ford who is fixing it right

 

have 07 5.4 f150 engine blown ,26k ford dealer says excessive end play on crank shaft ,oil change 4k intervals

 

yes it is still Ford who is paying for the repairs. But, Ford does not pay the dealer the same amount that a normal customer would pay. So its not as profitable to the dealer. But, if you take the truck back to the dealer for the same repair 3 times then you should be able to claim it as a LEMON. I have a slight rough idle in my 07 also but its not bad enough for me to worry about.

Yea rplatt is right about that, dealers hate that work cuz they get chewed down by ford, same when your insurance pays hospital bills. They charged like $16,000 when i broke my arm the insurance chew them down to $7,000
