Just put a remanufactured engine in my truck. Now the temp guage is pegged to the hot side. Truck isnt running hot but it's a little freaky to be cruising along and look down to see the gauge pegged hot! Mechanic said the gauge cluster needs rebuilt. Is there anything else I can do before trying that? He tried a manual reset using the key and odometer but it didnt work.
