plug sucked in

Default plug sucked in

hello
new to site and i cant spell worth a s^&t so please bear with me
driveing home last night and it started poping new it was plug so i pulled over and it stop .looking at it this morning and the plug had been suck in to the head so far that i cant get a sockit on it .any ideals on geting it with take head off that to big of a job for me thank for any input steve

Normally they blow out. That really sucks. I'm not a mechanic, so I won't throw my $.02 on how to fix it.

Personally, I can not see how that is possible. Are you using the correct plug socket?

i used 5/8 deep well a 5/8 plug socket. its deep enough u just cant get a socket on it. it was a blow out and i guess it took out all the thread to be suck back in. i cant take the head off just to much work for me and i don't have the money to pay some one.it would best for me to get the plug out

Interesting..... What year / model is your 5.4L. My '04 5.4L 3V takes a 9/16" socket.

its a 99 with 240.000 Miles on it. the plug is in deep to the point the hexs part u just cant get any thing on it . maybe brake off insulate drill down the center and use a ez out or i don't known
